the mockabee seven // pure green magazine

earlier this year we were asked to photograph jodi mockabee & her family for a special “day in the life” feature in pure green magazine about their natural & holistic lifestyle. words can’t fully explain what a special place & family this is & we are so honored to have worked with the talented & lovely carrie (from type a society) who did the styling for this shoot.

everything was photographed in & around their home in beautiful northern california (yes – that beautiful open space is their front yard & they have a chicken coop!). not only does this family live intentionally in every area – their faith,  homeschooling, using natural remedies & products (like homemade toothpaste), encouraging learning & a love of nature in their children, unplugging from too much technology (they do not have a TV)… the special bond each family member shares & love shown with another is truly inspiring.
